Hi Glo or high molecular fluorescein sodium ophthalmic strips are made of filter paper. Each sterile strip is impregnated with highly pure 0.5 mg of Fluorexon Disodium salt and sterilized by EO. They are used in assessments of tear film break-up time in contact lens wearers and non-contact lens wearers.
