IGEL CD BIFOCAL

Custom-made soft contact lens.

Igel CD Bi Focal lens  is for people with presbyopia develop farsightedness due to aging process in the eyes.

People with presbyopia develop farsightedness due to aging process in the eyes. It is a common refractive error. It can even develop if one has a refractive error like nearsightness or astigmatism. Igel Bi Focal contact lens is a wonderful option to help them see clearly, without wearing something they may find stigmatizing like a simple pair of glasses. One report suggested that increased use of laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) would reduce the prescription rate for bi focal contacts. Patients are undergoing LASIK to manage presbyopia and long-term refractive errors, but as the eye ages, developing presbyopia again becomes a risk. It may be better to manage mild or moderate refractive errors with secondary presbyopia with contacts rather than surgery. Igel CD Bi Focal lenses are custom-made soft contact lens. They are made out of flexible polyhema material that is combined with water to allow oxygen to flow through the contact lens to the cornea. Igel CD Bi Focal lens are comfortable and easy to apply. Igel CD Bi Focal lens are reusable hydrogel soft contact lens and can last up to a year. Igel Bi Focal concept is based on concentric rings. Rather than an upper and lower section, concentric bifocals have an outer ring that corrects one refractive error and an inner ring that corrects the other.
